GERDA BLANK was a German woman shot attempting to cross the Berlin wall. It is also the project name of Rhys Braddock & Stuart Mills . Rhys, originally from New Plymouth, New Zealand, picked up drummer & vocalist, Stuart Mills, in Auckland, NZ, October 2007, they discovered they shared similar musical Ideals, wanting to quickly record an album, and see where their fruitful musical results would carry them.
In July 2008, they embarked on their first European tour, taking In Barcelona, Bosnia. Currently based in Brno, Czech Republic, they are forging a lively reputation for their positively explosive on stage performances, attempting to break down musical boundaries, in and around Europe and beyond.
